Sam Gyup Sal

Sam Gyup Sal a korean dish is basically bacon that is cooked on a grill and enjoyed by a vast majority of people in korea. It is a dish that can be enjoyed anytime and when you are walking the streets of korea, you will find sam gyup sal places everywhere... It is not a expensive dish, and so it is usually the meat of choice for college students. Sam Gyup Sal is also associated with Soju, or Korean rice liquor. In Korea, everyone enjoys drinking Soju, and usually while enjoying Sam Gyup Sal you drink Soju. Sam Gyup Sal is unique in a way that you usually cook the meat on a round table with a grill in the middle. A group of friends or family will go to a restaurant and eat and drink. I believe it is a food that brings closeness within a group. You wouldn't just go eating Sam Gyup Sal with anybody, and you would definitely not eat them alone.
